They were originally based in Hilversum but in 1898 moved to Trompenburg, Amsterdam. It is the one responsible for manufacturing the Dutch Queen’s “Golden Carriage” in 1898 and still in use today. The company produced cars, aircraft and aircraft engines during the war. The death of its founder led to bankruptcy.
