One of the most popular car brand in USA is the Shelby American which was founded by a racing car enthusiast, Carroll Shelby. Shelby American was the first American company who won the World Manufacturers’ Championship. The company’s involvement with racing made their cars won several races in racing games like the Dragstrip at the 24-hours Le Mans. In 1966, Shelby American helped the Ford Motor Company to enter the America’s the World Manufacturers’ Championship and it also provided support to Ford to campaign for them to win the 1966 24 hours of Le Mans on the same year.
Shelby American currently produces automobiles like small block Cobra, the big block Cobra, the Shelby GT350 and the GT500 Super Snake. And they have been releasing new models each year since 2005.
