RUF Automobile GmbH is a German Car manufacturing company which was founded by Alois Ruf Sr. In 1939, the company started as a service garage and later expanded to become a full service gas station in 1949. During the late 1040s, Ruf began experimenting and designing cars in the late 1940s.

Today, RUF cars are known automobiles, which are built from Porsche’s bodies and chassis. Although it gets its chassis from Porsche, RUF is still considered as a manufacturer by the German government because they still do their independent works on the cars. They also install several own-made parts to their cars.

As the RUF Company, the management thought of launching their trademark that will be posted in each of their model which they call as the RUF logo. Though car logos are just a small part in every car model that they release, still they play an important role as it serves as a visual representation of the company. Car logos also help in improving the popularity of each car brand. They are a way of advertisement for the car manufacturing company. Like other car logos, RUF logo was made in the way that it will represent their company. RUF logo comes in a three letters image “RUF” which was posted artistically.
