MINI

The Mini symbol contains a circle in the middle, which rejoices the company’s name in uppercase letters. The wings symbolize the speed, agility, power, and freedom. Also, the Mini symbol denotes economy, a reasonable price, normal capacity.

MINI

The Mini is a small car that was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis.  It was owned by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000.

Early MINIs are considered British icon of the 1960s, and its space-saving front-wheel-drive layout, which allowed 80% of the area of the car’s floor pan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car-makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century, behind the Ford Model T.

The Mini car logo has a simple design like other car logos. The MINI logo brand name was enclosed in a circle that looks like Harry Potter’s snitch.

Introduced: 1969 (used since 1959 in model names)

Country: United Kingdom

Previous owners:

     British Motor Corporation (1959-1968)

     British Leyland (1968-1986)

     Rover Group (1986-2000)

Owner: BMW (directly since 2000)

As simple as it is, the  logo had tamed a lot of consumers to own a mini car. Another of its edge to other car logos is that the logo bears the epic car of Mr. Bean( a screen character), model Leyland Mini 1000. With all of this popularity and efficiency behind the Mini logo, it is considered as one of the top car logos in the automobile world.

The launch of the New MINI was produced by BMW in 2001.  The MINI currently comes in three models, the standard MINI One with a 1.6 liter 90bhp Chrysler’s engine, the Cooper powered by a 115bhp version of the same engine and the Copper S adding a supercharger.
