Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation, launched in 1989. It was originated from a flagship of sedan project conde named F1 which began in 1983. The Lexus line represents the company’s realization of a dream to create a world-class luxury-car brand. It produced car models like sedan, convertible, coupé and SUV.

The Lexus logo competes with other car logos in terms of its artistic features. The simplicity of company logo can be interpreted as an italicized “L” enclosed in a round frame and usually comes with its brand name in all caps. This simple badge design made the logo remarkable among other car logos. Its constant increase in sales proved the company logo to become known in a sea of famous car logos being established worldwide.

The Lexus cars are now sold globally and have become Japan’s largest-selling make of premium cars. It  was marketed over 70 countries and territories worldwide and snatched a rank as one of  the ten largest Japanese global brands in market value. Lexus is headquartered in Toyota City, Japan, with major operational centers in Brussels, Belgium, and Torrance, California, United States.
